I have talked to the moderators that were holding their tapes, and the moderators of /r/nomansskythegame.

If anyone wants to blame someone blame the mods of /r/nomansskythegame. The moderators that held their tapes planned to release them, it was all a misunderstanding due to the main Moderator of /r/nomansskythegame telling them not to release the tapes the night earlier, and then changing his mind (due to hello games telling them to) if he would have communicated that better to the people holding the tapes (who felt it would be wrong to release the tapes without hello games consent) this would not have been a issue. But instead the moderators of nomansskythegame decided to release the discord chat to demonize the other tape holders (who ran their own separate no mans sky related sub). I would say they did it to make them release the tapes but it looks more like it was about some petty rivalry the mods of nomansskythegame have against the other No Mans Sky themed sub Reddits.

I'm not saying that the people that held their tapes were angels, they also handled it badly. But most of the blame should go to /r/nomansskythegame's mod team.

Tl;DR /r/nomansskythegame took what could have been a fun puzzle and turned it into a chance to bitch about the moderators they don't like.

Wow, that's really interesting. Does that mean you guys had to "terminate" a couple of positions? (That's the 'lingo' you whippersnappers use these days for a pair of concrete boots, right?) I really enjoyed the part of that wall where with the spikes on it. I think it was midway through, sometime after the dragons crossed the ocean but before the place where most of the illegals got stuck on their way over. But like I was saying youve got some problems and those problems require a solution, that solution is deep within your heart. I know it might feel wrong but sometimes you've just got to suck it up.
