Tbh I was really hoping that my big /r/drama debut wound have been due to something a little more entertaining. On the plus side, I think I've struck a nerve.

Holy shit, what a looneytoon. I thought he was just an idiot but this is some genuinely unstable behavior. Did you actually permaban him or is he exaggerating?
I banned him for a day, and I got a couple of dozen pings. I messaged him in modmail saying that it was a brave move to spam the guy who banned him and in that time, I got pinged a few dozen more times. So at that point I permabanned him.
Since then, I would have been pinged a few hundred times, maybe even in the low thousands. I think he has changed every comment he has ever posted to ping me, although I have not gone that far back into his history.
