I saw a number of instances of obvious cheating during exams in my time at university. The one time that really stands out, however, is when this guy got up like 10 minutes into an organic chem final, handed in his paper with basically nothing done, and walked out. At least he took responsibility for his slackage. More respect for that dude that the people with notecards and cell phones and shit they'd peek at under their desks.

Fucking rampant at my uni. I'm watching all the foreigners talk to each other during the exam but barely get looked at. I don't mean foreigners to be racist but them specifically because they pay significantly higher tuition then the rest of us so it's in the uni's best interest to push them forward. Honesty, I didn't report a single one of them, and I got shit from it from all my friends who attained their high-merit positions in life from working hard and not slacking off.

I got cum laude phi beta kappa regardless of these people. The main issue is that cum laude phi beta kappa at my university was diminished by people who cheated.

I started from dropping out of high school to going to summer school to going to community college to going to state college and then people at state college cheated to get better grades. I didn't report them. But I should have. We don't all start from the some shitty beginnings.

It's one thing to report the guy for grade boundaries (which is reasonable, I guess?) but it's a completely different thing to pretend that you did it for "his own good".
