Then Reddit is an enemy of freedom, this isn't Europe or some other police state, the internet is AMERICAN. If you support information censorship on the internet then you are an enemy
/u/harthamah you're a ridiculous person and need to
Keep Yourself Safe.
This is a nice post and all, but I'm guessing that the only reason anyone is even arguing about this because these people believe 3D is superior to 2D.
P_K pissed off some woke anarkiddie who followed him around accusing him of liking little children. IIRC that drama was the start of /r/Drama's obsession with Prince, but maybe /u/Sarge_Ward remembers the timeline better than I do.
Like you understand this means you said you were working on a dissertation once and I remembered it so your whole entire point of posting is useless?
What's the point of lying and then correcting people who repeat the lie are how wrapped up in Reddit are you this isn't healthy man get some normal hobbies.
/u/Prince_Kropotkin was started as a more ironic alt "Drama-Friendly" account of a user who was bullied for serious posting Anarcism unioncially that's why he's been able to create all these "What Drama is to SRD this sub is to LeftWithEdge and Socialism" subs
This may not be true as it's based on my faulty memory but I'm sure he can link you to good drama his main was in.
I got mad and ragequit /r/@ because every time I logged on the modmail was full of people melting down about literally everything and screaming at anyone who disagreed with them, and I tried to force through some basic rules about cutting down the drama
That we are. Reddit has been a great resource for us though. I don't think any site has a more comprehensive collection of videos that has served as an amazing record of current ongoing conflicts. I understand why the admins are taking the steps that they are, but as a guy with degrees in history and international affairs, I hate seeing censorship of information that helps provide a greater understanding of the conflict, and will go down in the historical record. Even obvious propaganda helps you understand the mindset and perspective of the various sides.
When I was still in college, subs like /r/combatfootage and /r/syriancivilwar were some of my go to resources for primary sources for many of the papers I wrote, and I wasn't the only student using these sources. For a lot of us in the fields of poli sci/international affairs, the content on these subs are valuable academic resources.
That's an extreme simplification and strawman of the issue. The productions that ISIS put out are extremely well produced, shot in 4k by highly skilled cameramen and drone operators. These aren't the "potato" quality videos shot on cell phones from a decade ago. These are expensive, professional productions, which are made to impress and send a message. ISIS propaganda gives us a look into the perspectives of ISIS as an organization, showing us how they fight, and why they fight. It's a biased perspective of course, but it is still important to study it to contextualize their role in the broader conflict.
Their releases are some of the only sources that give a good glimpse into how they view themselves, which can help us understand why they exist, how they recruit, and what their plans for the future are. This is extremely important from a research standpoint for students, scholars, and other academics who study the region and the conflict.
The productions that ISIS put out are extremely well produced, shot in 4k by highly skilled cameramen and drone operators
you see that one with the kids running in the cave to shoot those drugged up prisoners? the production quality on that was outstanding. pretty fucked up; it looked like a hollywood movie
A nasheed is a type of Islamic singing that's basically a capella because anything more than basic percussion is, for whatever reason, unIsalmic. It's catchy and has beautiful harmonies, so if you don't agree that the FSA puts out the best anti-Assad anashid then I will come to claim your head and bussy, kafir.
Hey man living in a war zone i get some neat privileges like not having to worry about being "put on a list" for posting IS Videos on reddit, At the end of the day IS posts some dank af combat videos at 1080P and someone (me, Arab Morrocan and afew others) had to post it to the COMBAT FOOTAGE subreddit.
I think you misunderstand me. I'm mocking Reddit admins and, to a lesser extent, the overly dramatic posters on SCW. Arab_Moroccan should have put his stuff in one thread so /new/ wasn't full of AMAQ, but I liked having it. Ya'll are alright by me.
None of his posts in SCW are removed, only the post in combatfootage which was the Graphic Poster of an IS Release hosted on the reddit servers which is what i believe it was removed for.
A nasheed (Arabic: singular نشيد nashīd, plural أناشيد anāshīd, also nashwad (pl.), meaning: "chants"; also nasyid in Malaysia and Indonesia) is a work of vocal music that is either sung a cappella or accompanied by percussion instruments such as the daf. In general, Islamic anasheed do not contain lamellaphone instruments, string instruments, or wind and brass instruments, although digital remastering – either to mimic percussion instruments or create overtones – is permitted. This is because many Muslim scholars state that Islam prohibits the use of musical instruments except for some basic percussion.
The admins tell me it was a terrorist music sub run by a confirmed ISIS lieutenant going by the handle /u/DeformedElephant. Early reports confirming that he wants to kill kuffar with his Damascus steel.

r/DankestNasheeds never been there but apparently that is a music subs. Did someone explain that to admin?
n/a subpoutine 2017-06-19
No, it was a terrorist music sub run by a confirmed ISIS lieutenant going by the handle /u/DeformedElephant.
n/a _The-Big-Giant-Head_ 2017-06-19
What does that even mean? Does a rapper around here rapping about shooting police officers considered terrorist song and should be banned?
n/a subpoutine 2017-06-19
It was music made for and by terrorists. All anashid are inherently terroristic; we know this because /u/spez said so.
n/a _The-Big-Giant-Head_ 2017-06-19
Not sure why you are tagging him but the definition of that is pretty much clear. It's music
PS: You keep using this idiotic buzz word "terrorist" in all your replies to try to justify something without making any sense.
