I've never seen evidence that they ask lesbians to do this. In fact this is literally the first time I've seen the claim made, while it's been known how the totally LGBT progressive muslim country, have been telling gay men to change or die for years.
Most muslims do. It's not surprising really, since at least on the surface a trans person and someone of the opposite sex fits the expected image of society, at least on a superficial level, so can't be seen as endangering kids or threatening traditional family values etc.
The point I was making is while I've seen stories of gay men being forced to change, the title of this article doesn't actually seem to match the story, she wasn't forced to change but tried presenting as male then went to the doctors and then decided it wasn't for her after the fact and blames her lack of internet for it.
Basically their leader came to the conclusion that the Quran didn't actually say anything about trans people while it was totally clear that gays are haram.
