Last night I made one of the high quality comments for which I'd like to think I'm known, and /u/JlmmyButler replied "you are incredible. can we be friends? pretty sure i've seen your username before" I was elated to finally be getting the attention I so richly deserve. I accepted his offer. Finally I'd found someone who truly appreciated me.
I hurried out to buy JlmmyButler and me matching friendship bracelets. When I came home, I excitedly PMed JlmmyButler asking for his address so I could send his in the mail. His reply? "i love you. pretty sure i've seen your username before." My heart sank. Who would do such a thing? Who gave this bot's creator the right to toy with people's emotions like this?
My girlfriend came home and found me crying over the bracelets and thought I was cheating on her. She left me. Now I can't bring myself to look at the box the friendship bracelets came in. I didn't even keep the receipt. I'm short on the rent this month and I didn't even keep the fucking receipt.
