Vast Stick shills dogpile into r/shittykickstarters to promote their product. Sub retaliates.

Two months ago u/Shields42 created this thread after a dust-up with the "people" of Vast Stick. This week, those "people" hit the sub with alt accounts, breaking sitewide rules to discredit the thread OP and claim how their "product" will make them bigger than a certain storage manufacturer in five years. At least 12 shill accounts have been created, all less than one week old.
They fucked with the wrong subreddit, for this is the one sub whose top post, picked up by bestof ultimately started the demise of the "portable underwater breathing device" otherwise known as Triton, and set off the wheels of motion that forced Indiegogo to kill the scam project. So when these Vast Stick shills crashed the party, this sub was naturally unamused.
Shields42 proceeded to out them all, with other posters digging out the dirt on the folks supposedly running this Vast Stick project. Unsurprisingly, the Vast Stick shills attacked this thread too!

This, but unironically.

If you donate to a crowd funding project you deserve to lose your money. It's like pre-ordering a game with a chance of you not even getting the game.

i've seen reddit try their hand at 'investigation' and it almost always ends up just tards being tards and getting everything wrong. Probably the case here but it looks like a snoozefest anyway so fuck off OP.
then again 'Down the rabbit hole we go!' always speaks to legitimate genius at work so they are probably on the verge of a pizzagate breakthrough in there.

Why is it that 4chan seems to be better at "investigations"? Higher percentage of autists? Maybe something to do with every reply being equally weighted?

My guess is the same reason linux people still use usenets. Non intuitive user interfaces usually filter out all the half-assers on first visit.

I remember using tin on a shell account back in the 90s, it was not hard. Dialing in was the real challenge.

4chan's intuitive as fuck though.

It's the fact that you can't upvote comments so that they stick around, snowballing into something which is getting more attention than it deserves. Every comment has a much shorter lifespan, forcing new comments to be produced and take their place.

Apparently there exists someone called Shelly Cerelli. I'm buying it, why not.
n/a Shields42 2017-06-29
Did you read the comments in the second post? Their office address in Syracuse is actually a pediatric clinic. And both James T Cerelli and a supposed Carmelo Cerelli were involved in a major bitcoin scandal. We have all of the evidence. /u/Tatermen did all of the investigating.

It does look juicy. Nicely done. The name is still goofy though.

That last quote by /u/jeff_batio, it is a troll btw.

Of course. I quoted him for the extra butter.

This is the best freakout I've seen in a while:
