I won't lie, I had no idea there were so many types of mangoes until I visited india, thought there were like just 2 and shit. We don't get those small mangoes in the states really, so not too shocking he doesn't think they are mangoes. However, in France it is sold at a discount, while the main imported cultivar is Kent, considered less fibrous and tastier.
Honestly, looking at the picture without reading the caption, I would have thought that they were lemons too. Oddly shaped lemons, but I have never seen mangos that look like that so I can see how someone else would also think they are lemons.
