My generation had this debate about Goofy and Pluto. Why was one wearing clothes and speaking English while the other defecates in the street and lives chained up in Mickey Mouse's yard?
The obvious answer is that Pluto is somewhat differently abled and Mickey has some creative solutions regarding care in the community.
