It's not much drama but I have to give props to /u/lawnerdcanada for making me bust out laughing with their ridiculous statement that garnered hundreds of downvotes.
The thing is, /u/lawnerdcanada is on point with the legal analysis, and the fag hags over there that got their law degrees from watching Judge Judy reruns downvote the shit out of him.
I'm all about sending gays and minorities to camps ftr.
It's actually a thing in the Troubled Teen Industry to adopt children, even from other countries, and then drop them in these places when the mayos realize that adopted kids will not be eternally grateful for their generousity in taking them in.
I was in one of those places and wrote what help I could provide to the OP in r/bestoflegaladvice since they locked everything before I could comment and because the mods of LA are a bunch of self-important cunts- surprise surprise bestof mods are going to their level of cuntery.
Most likely she's actually in a few months of 'wilderness' which is a usual first step to their 4 part breaking of the human spirit. Many children get bootrot during since the caretakers don't give a shit.
Although she's in there for being a lesbian don't think that's all they do, they're called the Troubled Teen Industry for a reason: if you're too uppity, defiant, outspoken, coping in a toxic home with substance abuse, experimenting with sex etc you will be in the catch all term of troubled teen.
I have had enough validation over a lot of therapy that I was able to turn my experience into a teaching moment (and getting a sweet grade) for a research paper. Here is my presentation I did, I included many of the cult behaviors I witnessed there.
If you have anymore questions feel free to ask, speaking openly about it and having acknowledgement and disgust over the sick fucks has reduced my C-PTSD reactions.
