Okay let me clear some stuff up as the OP of that post.

• The point of the post was to apologize for the constant insult to the devs. It's okay to be mad and complain and give suggestions, but here is no reason to insult the developers. Don't bite the hand that feeds you. And yes that can go both ways as we as consumers by the developers products.

• Everyone in the community bashes the devs for not fixing stuff as fast as possible. Another point of the post was to shed light on this topic. Some stuff isn't as easy to fix as everyone makes it out to be. The flicker bug in the game was an example. The community gave 2 big suggestions. A month or 2 went by and nothing was done. The community was filling out. Turns out, the devs tested those suggestions, and they didn't work.

• There is a bug in the game that causes a black screen during gameplay and then crashes the game. Everyone screams, "FIX IT NOW, SIMPLE FIX". Well, no it's not. The bug has to be reproducible. This means you have to find the cause of the bug to fix it. If the bug is random (like the black screen bug) it is EXTREMELY hard if not impossible to fix. Why? You don't know the cause and therefore cannot FIX it. But the community doesn't know that so we flip shit for bugs not being fixed when we want them too.

• The game also has netcode issues. Well it is actually understandable when you realize that the network system they're using is completely unique to for honor and hasn't been done before, at least to my knowledge. How do you fix something that has never been fixed before. You work through it and that's what the devs are doing. I have way less connection issues then I did at launch and so do many of my friends.

• I also see a bunch of people saying, "put more time and effort and man power on the issues like networking. Stop releasing and working content until the issues are fixed". Well that's not how a Dev team works. you can't just bring art designers over to the networking department. They won't have a clue on what to even start doing.

Not one in my original post did I say we should apologize for the current state of the game. Don't put words in my mouth.

In summary, the for Honor community bash the developers for not getting things done when they want them done. The community insult them for being slow without having any idea what goes on behind closed doors. Should Ubisoft be more transparent about stuff, yea they should, and I believe they're gonna start doing so. Point is we have no idea how hard it may be to fix the issues the game has. I see a ton of posts complaining without actually giving suggestions (some do give suggestions and that's a good thing). It just seems asinine. Now I ask, does this warrant insults? I don't think so. Complaints, absolutely. Insults? No.

TL:DR The For Honor community bashes and throws insults at the devs without knowing how hard it may be to fix the issues the game faces. Complaints are warrant but hateful speech is not. It's not gonna make them work any faster. The apology was not meant to be about the complaints or how the game is broken. We have no business apologizing for that. What I think we should apologize for is the relentless insults shot at the devs that aren't needed.

Game companies don't feed the consumers, they provide products and services to their consumers, and the consumer response it kind. If they felt they have been swindled by all the hypes builts before release, which the connection all looked well and good (Ubisoft games with good connection, lol), then of course they'll feel justified in getting angry.
