They're profiting off of everything anyone says around it, you fucking mong. This is why the government fells it can go so far to fuck the average America's privacy
Logically they are likely to ban users from many different subs. The myriad of anti trump subs are well known for using bots, brigading, and breaking site rules. T_D has been accused of the same, but if you look at the playing field there's many more "active" anti trump subs, than trump supporting ones. Is it not reasonable for mods of a "special" sub like conspiracy to try to avoid that kind of "popularity" by banning users they suspect are involved in that sort of thing?
I wonder what the onus behind the pathological hatred people have for ads and data is. I could not give less of a fuck if target notices I buy a lot of some brand of whatever, so they send me a coupon for it. It affects me none.
The "hidden ad" thing is even weirder. If a post I like has a can of pepsi in it and it was posted by my friend, it's good. If that exact same post is posted by someone who works at pepsi, it's bad. If it's entertaining, why does it matter?
I'll tell you what I think. I think it's a power thing. They feel like when they see (what they think is but almost certainly is not) a hidden ad, the fact that they didn't consent to seeing an ad means they've been "used" somehow, like it's a violation of their right to have absolute control over every last thing they see. They've learned that sometimes things might happen that they didn't plan on happening, and that makes them afraid even though it makes no sense.
That's all fine, if they only use the say 5 years of 24/7 recorded audio in your house to only sell you coupons you like based in the stuff you order. Do you think only amazon employees have access to those recordings? Almost everything you provide "willingly" on the internet, aka you clicking on the TOS of amazon will end up with multiple data broker companies. Did you actually read the TOS btw? Try an experiment, send an email to amazon asking them to disclose the list of companies they sent your data to, links to their privacy police and their contact information. If they even give you a single contact (they won't) then contact those companies and ask whobthey shared it with and so on. You think date about you is not worth it but there are billion dollar data broker companies do.

/u/redditpentester how much TSLA stock do you own? Do you actuality think that subsidizing vehicular welfare for silicon valley douchebags is profitable? Could you possibly be a more stereotypical mouth-breathing Reddit tech fanboy?

Conspiracy was basically confirmed to be T_d safespace after mod refused to answer "Do you ban users from anti Trump subs?"

degenerates hate their degeneracy. Non-degenerates figured out how to capitalize off their degeneracy. Degenerates take exception to that. That's all.
