I'm not denying fundamentalist Islam isn't problem. Hell there are many issues I take with it. The way they treat non Muslims and even worse exmuslims. There is a good reason exmuslims I have talked to have a deep anger and hatred of their former religion. And their frustrating at how certain progressives laud sarsour at times
However I tend to focus on Christianity a lot more because I guess it's closer? Korea has tons of issues because of it and America even more so. What I find frustrating is that people focus on Islam to an extent that they give those a pass. Fundamentalist Christianity is as dangerous as other sort of fundamentalism and often in the West they are a political force and affect the country more than Islam.
Fuck me I'm imagining Christian lobbies pressuring the education system in Texas to remove evolution and be more Christian family? I'm imagining DUP's policies on abortion and their strict asinine laws in North Ireland? I'm imagining the constant pressure politicians face in Korea to appeal to the sizable Christian voting population that lgbt and abortion issues are pretty much never talked about?
Oh I must have imagined Uganda too, their homophobic anti gay laws were in no way influences by Christian republicans in America
