Excellent drama. Both sides are insane. One says Falun Gong isn't a cult. The other says they're terrible because they supposedly got 8... MILLION... dollars!!! from the US.

I know for a fact that Falun Gong is a cult, because they tried to recruit me. Me. Would any legitimate religion see a guy from r/drama and think, "hey, that's the kind of guy who should join our organization"?

I met a few of them during my trip to the East Coast, and I read their paper (Epoch Times) quite frequently. Crazy bunch.

They worship the founder like a God, and anything that oppose Communism is good.

No different from the US Government / CIA using NGO's in Russia to try to overthrow Putin. Same principal. Fortunately the state controls the media in both countries thus the populations aren't nearly as gullible as Americans are with CNN and ABC seen as 'truth news'.
