By what metric? The US has plenty of problems, for sure, but I'll take our brand of retardation over the Orwellian police state that is the UK. Plus I'm a white dude, so I'm living the dream.
The fundamental question for West is this - do you re-arrange chairs on the deck and figure out sustainable capitalism or you keep rolling the dice and rely on year over year growth via immigration as a trust inducing paradigm?
In other words, is eternal incremental increase in GDP growth more important than ethnic/racial make up of your country?
Michael Moore is not the guy to elaborate on this.
Shit like this here is what's really starting to scare me about humans. Your post is better written and more eloquent than any of mine yet it basically is just nonsense. People are getting really good at disguising their stupid.
I'll read literally anything someone replies to me with so do your worst. But like how has the choice ever been "permanent gdp growth or a diverse nation" like who has ever presented this as the choice?
I actually realized that at some point but I don't know, the whole anti immigration point seems so obscured in the comment that I wasn't sure that was the subject.
Immigration as a concept is a pure invention of a mature capitalistic society and has nothing to do with humanism, goodness of the heart and other feel-good mass marketing notions people think about. So is exploitation of workers in various third world countries and exploitation of Mexicans and others in great US of A.
In order to supply population for a possibility of incremental GDP increase which is a result of increase in spending which is a result of increase in debt, those who pursue the returns on investments, the choice of who to let in the country is totally irrelevant. What they need is a consumer and anyone will do because anyone will consume.
Therefore, diversity is a result of randomness and also availability of population willing - or, brought to the point of - relocating. Name one white country whose average citizen would leave their country for US? Yes, that's right, none. So, you get who you can, not who you'd like.
Therefore, the point that I'm making is that our current understanding of economy (e.g. percentage of return on investments year over year by various pension funds or increase of major market indices) is what drives bought political elites to pave the way for ever more increase in immigration to the point of totally replacing existing population.
Let me illustrate this incremental growth dogma that, I think is at this point totally flawed. Say you open a business and you start selling something and the business goes through a year of immense growth because the product is new and the market has capacity. Then after few years, it stabilizes because infinite growth is mathematical impossibility. At one point, in January you sell 10,000 of things and then in February you sell 9,999 and your summary shows negative indicator. But for who? You still sold 9,999 of the things you produce, people paid for it, you got the money, you were able to pay workers and other liabilities and even secured a small corporate profit, paid all the taxes, in short everyone got a piece of it. However, newspapers will write you off simply because you didn't make MORE than last month. That's insane! You don't have to grow all the time to be successful.
I ascribe this insane expectation to the fact that whole economy is viewed through debt creation which, in order to sustain itself, needs to multiply and increase all the time. I could go on a bit more but it gets hairy there onward.
In short, anyone who thinks about immigration in terms of diversity is just smoking a pipe.
Low wage inmigration is done to recreate an extremely low wage workforce, something which was lost due to rising cost of living and human rightd. Refugees are huge targets for being pushed into various forms of illegal labour and sex slavery as a result as they lack the same rights, but saying this makes you a racist Islamiphobe so nothing will ever be done about it.
The people pushing this shit are all from gated communities or are trust fund college students with very warped views of what a normal life is like.
Basically the entire British media establishment and a huge chunk of the population have made it a hobby to loudly slate the Americans since the year 2000 (with a period of relaxation during the Obama years) We're as rude as they are. People are allowed to call the UK stupid.
Wow. There's actually British people on reddit with some self-awareness? Where have they been hiding all this time?

Find something he did after that where he went back to the USA and did almost exactly the same routine but about the UK.

Eh. They both kind of suck. It's mostly a question of whether you'd prefer to be mayocided via Ahmed's Truck of Peace or Jamal's Gun of Diversity.
Fuck that's the most The_Donald shit I've ever said. Goddamnit. Fuck. I hate myself. If only I could know the touch of a woman who wasn't a pillow.

What is it that you have a problem with?
I'm willing to elaborate but this is Reddit, who reads a post longer than a few sentences?

1 ManhattanTransFur 2017-08-05
He is presenting "incremental growth via immigration" OR "having a nation that you recognize" as the options.
