But with that in mind, you still have men rating women on dating websites much more evenly than women rating men, why? Two possible explanations:
1) The above theory that majority of men that use online dating services are socially inept or too unattractive for IRL dating, thus them having lower standards.
2) Women register for other reasons than men (as in, not due to being socially inept/too unattractive for IRL), leading to more good-looking women than men resorting to online dating.
Personally, I think it is a mix of both. There's more "socially inept, less attractive than average" types of men resorting to online dating than women, which leads both to lower standards and a different attractiveness distribution.

I feel like it's probably easier for a below average woman to settle down at this point, honestly.
Mainly because for a man in this situation - income is important, not so much for women.
I'd have to look into the research, but I suspect there's a reason recently divorced middle aged men are so much more likely to kill themselves than middle aged, recently divorced women and I'm guessing it's because they know the future doesn't look so good for them.
But yeah - obviously men and women have different sets of problems, I'm not really saying overall men have it harder, or easier, just when it comes to online dating and dating in general women have it better.

The profile may conceivably not actually have mentioned child abuse until the point at which he screenshotted it - and the incel who posted this could therefore have changed it to this after receiving the messages. None of the tinder matches actually mention anything other than a vague and lighthearted 'crime' and that he's a 'bad boy.' Given that r/incels has been planning dropping the "ultimate black pill" for some time, and will do anything to vilify women and prove their fallacious tenets, I have a lot of difficulty believing much of this isn't faked for 'evidence' of "femaloid degeneracy."
