This year there was a fledgling blue jay on the ground in my yard and my dog went after it. His parents were flipping out. I called my dog off and brought him inside, and then went to move the bb somewhere safer in the yard in case he was still around when my dog came out.

His parents shit on me and pecked me in the head.

My dog once ate a cardinal whole and it took three whole days to shit it out. It came out his butt in a big, sticky lump, an inch away from death. Took him 15 more minutes to finally croak. Poor little thing had the dead eyes of a bird that'd given up hope.
