Not all SRDines! Popcorn gets burnt when a user complains about the amount of MRAs in a SquaredCircle thread - is sexism against men valid if it is just "venting from an oppressed group"?

/u/soullesssingularity it's petty bullshit to excuse one type of sexism/racism because it's "the venting of an oppressed group" when this is often just a pathetic excuse to justify hatred. The worst thing is that liberals/leftists are more than willing to look away whenever it happens.

This is because they don't actually hate racism or sexism. They hate whites and men. The rest of it is just an excuse to bash us constantly.

If they genuinely believed in their anti-bigotry stances, they'd be for protecting everyone, and not just the people who vote for them.

isn't that still mostly white people

Only the spineless pussy ones who wouldn't even lift a tiki torch to defend their soiled blood or something.

the only excuse for hatred is if it's funny

This whole venting argument seems like a classic motte-and-bailey. You make a claim intending to prove some point about the world, but someone points out that actually your claim is not true, and so you say that actually you were just venting and the truth value of your original claim is irrelevant.

That way no one can ever call you on your bullshit, because as soon as someone points out how dumb your argument is you can claim that you're just letting off steam, and anyone who takes issue with that is a shitlord concern troll.

I'm starting to think that 95% percent of internet social justice (or any online political discourse, really) is about developing strategies so that you never have to admit that you're wrong. It's like when someone told atheists about logical fallacies and all their discussions devolved into them yelling the names of various logical fallacies at each other.

/u/strugle demonstrating that you can avoid the need for any argument/logical consistency with vague "historical reasons" handwaving

why did you take a shit on the street? becuz historical context

Of course u/misserray is a drunk negareddit user.

Of course /u/lifesbrink is an idiot who doesn't know reading comprehension. Since you decided to go through my post history anyways, it's quite clear I haven't been drunk. Although, I'd rather be a recovering alcoholic than an asshole MRA who likes taking cheap shots.
