I'm always surprised at the amount of so-called leftists who dogmatically believe in power of LARPing to deliver them their socialist utopia. If someone could give a coherent defense of LARPing as a strategy and a tactic then we could actually have a discussion, but the only argument these kids have is "it's righteous and therefore we should do it."

This is what happens when your movement is comprised mostly of upper-middle class kids with no material stake in leftism. It is only an aesthetic and a lifestyle brand for them.

We just aren't going to punch or shoot our way out of our growing far-right/Nazi problem. We don't have the strength to do it even if it was strategically sensible, which it isn't. Nazis in Weimar Germany purposefully escalated street violence so they could say to a fearful and upset public: "Vote for us, and we will restore Law and Order!
