It's not really similar. The dude had already served a ton of time in jail, whereas Arapeio didn't even have to face Justice for his crimes. A commutation is fundamentally different than a pardon.
In other news i think I figured out why conservatives hate abortion so much: they're afraid that one day when Gattaca becomes reality and we terminate mentally deficient "people", they're ilk are the ones who are going to be getting the coat hanger.

I guess it depends how you look at it. Which is worse? Trump making it so Arapeio is not doing time, or Obama releasing someone who was and presumably still might be okay with calling for violent revolution and bombing people. Meh. I say the second personally, but others may differ.

I would agree generally, but then again the Left is generally more likely to view tards as neuroatypicals and think they are all savants. So, it's here and there.
I mean what're the ramblings of an old man going to do? Puerto Rican independence is dead for the forgeable future, whereas the policies favored by Old Joe can now be somewhat normalized despite their flagrant unconstitutional nature. In the future, more departments may be willing to follow in his footsteps knowing that they are immune from prosecution.
Thinking tards are people is a fair amount less dumb than thinking a bunch of non-sentient cells are. If we allow for that, it's hard to argue that eating meat isn't also fundamentally wrong in the same way.

If that were true there wouldnt be similar groups to what the guy operated still in existence on US and Puerto Rican soil. The people who were lobbying for his release were part of revolutionary groups. That being said, he dosent have to be young and fit to radicalise people.

I dont think thatsthe case, if anything I think that trends are showing we are moving into an era with much more heightened police accountability vis a vis technological oversight. Not just by civilians but on body cam laws which are spreading and are proven to drop complaints.

I dont think this is a thing, but if this pardon is shown to make people feel invincible I would look at the numbers. Pardons arent precedent, and I think even a dumb racist person would know that. I dont buy the slippery slope argument on this.

I think that abortion should be allowed before viability or the third trimester or to save the mother or due to large defects because that seems reasonable to me personally. However, even under the best conditions abortions can cause shit storms. Ie gender selective abortions in Canada in some communities. Is that okay? Is aborting based on race okay? What is the morality once we arrive to these places?
I think, however, that arguments for and against abortion are both based on morals. Tards are people, but so are fetuses technically, it's all a mess. Until we start jyst making clear statements on what is reasonable and fair and excluding our heightened feelings on it, it will be what it is. Even then, it's another set of arguments after.
Joe Arpaio makes a tent city people call it a "concentration camp." Hippie bug chasers huffing balloons all day make a tent city they call it a "festival." Fuck these ridiculous double standards smh.

I love how they quickly forgot that Obama pardoned a terrorist bomb maker before leaving office. Lul Press F

He commuted the sentence, not pardoned, but still.

So if you ignore the fact that he didn't, he did?

I think its similar enough to be relevant and a parallel if not makes him looms worse tbh.

So you're cool with him commuting a terrorist's sentence?
Just so we're clear here.

Aww baby's first political pardon. They should look into Bill Clinton's pardons if they think Trump has undermined the judiciary with this one.

Not a defense of Clinton, but rather some perspective.

Joe Arpaio himself called it a concentration camp.. If other people are calling it that, it's because that's what Arpaio wants them to call it.
