Tell you what fucking rats are afeard of fucking cats, unless I get myself a Goliath Bird Eating Spider ain't nothing black widows will do about rats. Absolute shite.
I don't understand why people kill spiders unless you live in Australia or something. They are a harmless animal which will do free pest control for you. Just leave them alone.
i am one of the people butthurt from r/spiderbro but like... even i understand some spiders are a tad far too dangerous to always leave alive. I do my best to relocate them but if there is a widow in my house and I'm not equipped to relocate it I have to kill it to protect my dumb idiot cat who likes to eat any small thing that moves
I just think it's very disrespectful to post a picture of someone hurting a spider in a subreddit dedicated to their love of spiders. I wouldn't post a picture a parrot with a nail in it's head to /r/parrot, nor would I post a picture of me burning down a tree in /r/marijuanaenthusiasts.

If the rats had finished the job we wouldn't still be wringing our hands over the mayocide

You had me at "afeard".

Pretty harsh for killing a spider, but the laws the law. Bend over, boy - the spider would want this.
1 MajorPrick 2017-08-27
Can you provide proof the spider actually died? If not, a simple pegging of 3" inches max is all the law allows. What the spider wants is irrelevant.

OP of original post here. Spider is dead. http://imgur.com/a/TUlLJ

Yeah, you're right. No anal rape needed, just send him straight to ol' sparky.

How fucking autistic do you have to be to be this concerned with the well being of a fucking spider?

Drama in r/news as people are saddened by the death of one of millions of homosapiens

Because I dont want them crawling around in my house laying eggs and building nests?
1 GetsBanned_From_Subs 2017-08-27
My point exactly, pretty sure I said that in the other sub and it got downvoted to oblivion.
1 Genericynt 2017-08-27
You could say the same thing about killing stray cats on your street, they're a pest but that doesn't mean you should be killing them.
1 mrcolon96 2017-08-27
Because they're ugly, creepy, freak people out and leave their web all over the place.

Black Widows and Brown Recluses are not harmless

I'm on your side with this one. I always catch the wolf spiders I see in the house and put them outside. No reason to kill them.
1 Oubie 2017-08-27
they're comparing that to a dismembered cat in r/cats, what an overreaction.
1 neutralvoter 2017-08-27
'Fuck this dude. This is not cool. Do they post dead cats in /r/cats or wherever the fuck cat people congregate?'
lol it's reddit. I can almost guarantee that's been done, more than once. Plus who gives a shit
1 hoofburger 2017-08-27
There's millions of them, who cares?
1 Genericynt 2017-08-27
NSFL warning btw
