Cool story, bro

I am a bot. (Info / Contact)

I'm just here for the lolz.

Wow that article was fucking stupid

kek

Reading an article about something you know nothing about (agricultural practises in Soviet Ukraine) : Wow what a great article

Reading an article about something you know a lot about (internet trolling culture) : Wow what a bunch of retarded bullshit

🤔

The difference is people writing Soviet agriculture articles generally have some semblance of an idea of what they're talking about.

People writing an article about how random internet fags are the reason white nationalism is on the rise are fucking autistic to start with. So basically they'd fit right in over at TD anyway

I blame 4chan for literally everything.

Except in this case it's the opposite; D-tards are butthurt that an article accurately points out how shitty they are so they draw on their extensive ~~shitposting ability~ knowledge to "debunk" said article.

I'm actually a radical centrist, thx

D-tards

How does it feel to live so far up your own ass that you can use words that nobody else will recognize, but still believe that you've effectively communicated something.

What the fuck is a D-tard? A Democrat? 'Drumpf' voters?

Democrat Drumpf voters from Delaware eating hotDogs with Dijon mustard

Duh.

It was intended to be ambiguous between dramatard (ie denizen of /r/drama) and the_donald-tard (ie denizen of /r/the_donald). Try waking up your other braincell and thinking for a few seconds.

or you could just stop talking like a fag

people who use "shitty" to describe things should be gassed tbh

its like all of you weirdos are offended by every other term so it's all you can use without offending someone

This is my problem with the daily show type late night shows that tackle issues. Any time Oliver broaches anything I have the slightest clue about I get really frustrated at how terribly he handles it.

They're propagandists. I don't know why you expect them to be honest.

I think that most of the trouble with the left, at this point, comes from them watching comedy shows and believing that they are legitimate news sources.

It's not that i don't agree with them it's that they do such a bad job of covering it i want to disagree with them.

Yeah that's usually the case. It makes me feel bad because it makes my position look like it has to be presented so biasedly.

It seemed mostly on point to me, if a little surface. It also lacked the recent /r/conspiracy rebellion.

They didn't have to scan 3 billion comments to find that shit out. They could have just asked one of us.

lol SRD on the graph next to CoonTown

I remember when this site was interesting and cool. I think I stopped paying attention in 2014, then everything went to shit

the content creation side of reddit is dead. i filtered sports, politics, and videogames from /r/all and there's nothing but inane memes left.

I was talking about the site that op linked, quartz

delete this please

Implying reddit was ever a content creator

what about bunch of porn?

Just have to go to very small fractured communities where the front pages moves slowly.

You and your data are literally the product on Facebook. I think cuckbook is accurate.

thank god for quartz, where someone who is not qualified for data science to slap together a couple scripts and publish their results without fear for the dreaded peer review...

Oh, and btw, the title of this guys thesis is: "Do you even lift, bro?" Constructing and negotiating expertise and authority in online fitness and nutrition communities

Sorry for the spam, just working the metrics...

Wait, gamergaters hate gay people?

That is a new one

don't we all? news to me.

It's how the left thinks--that everyone they disagree with are the same, and that every outrageous belief they've ever heard one Republican say, must apply to all of them. To them, everyone who ever voted Republican on anything, must be gun-toting redneck racist who rapes kids, believes the earth is flat, thinks 'evilution is a lie!' and beats up gay people every weekend.

Here's the problem. There's no analysis about how many of those comments are posted by bots.

I quite liked the idea that popped up during /r/place to explain The_Donald's inability to claim even a tiny spot for themselves, despite other subreddits like /r/osu being able to fight back against a ton of people trying to destroy their logo. Someone said 'It's because Russian trolls don't get paid by the pixel.'

uhhh, you realize that /r/place was literally 100% bots, right? those were the only ones who could make anything stay.

the mods were also banning people like crazy.

i got banned from /place for helping replace an anarcho-communist flag for an anarcho-capitalist flag. literally just making the red yellow for a meme.

A couple of things here. One, I'm not suggesting this as a serious theory, I just thought it was funny. Two, 'there were bots on /r/place!' isn't really relevant. Anyone from any subreddit was capable of using a script including The_Donald, and plenty of subreddits managed to carve out a space for themselves even in the face of opposition. As for the bans, not something I noticed at the time and no-one was talking about it. Personally I helped destroy Indonesia.

how is "there were bots there" not relevant in a comment you made claiming TD is full of bots?

if TD is full of bots, why wouldn't they just use bots in /r/place?

you see why your theory makes no sense right?

Yeah, that sounds like the kind of thing that would've gone totally unnoticed, and that The_Donald wouldn't have spent weeks screaming about. Totally plausible.

edit that shit down my dude im not reading that book

In summary, you're wrong and also stupid.

caring thus much about a tightly controlled script run pixel art

You're talking about yourself, right? I repeated a joke someone else made, you're the one who got offended.

As part of the Alt-Right Open Intelligence Initiative at the University of Amsterdam...

Jesus Christ, it's like someone really did meme anime to life.

(((quartz)))

You’ll see them talking about memes such as Pepe the Frog, “Kekistan,” and the “normies”they despise.

Pepe and kekistan are normie af now

Someone took the time to research shitposting. I hate this world. Internet culture isn't that hard to understand people say stupid shit to get a reaction from someone.

There's more to life than cynical surface level understandings of different topics.

You probably have a good idea of who the so-called “alt-right” are: a group of white supremacists and nationalists, bound up by a fiery loathing of “political correctness,” “cultural Marxism,” and those pesky “social-justice warriors.”

WTF I love the Alt-right now
