The people who complain about "horseshoe" theory are missing the point, which is that extremists are extremists and their exact ideology doesn't matter.
Every time I point that out, some moron shows up to say "but [ideology] is different!", and it just happens to be the one they subscribe to.
Honestly all these extremists on the left and right are social outcast virgins who flock to an extreme ideology because they think society is the only reason that they fail.
