If you havent at least occasionally being reading /r/politics you been missing out on some grade A hysteria. Gems like this:
In 70 years, the grandchildren of DACA recipients and Syrian refugees will be demanding that the English Boat People be deported for refusing to assimilate and work. So the cycle goes...
My only hope is that the /r/politics users are the English Boat People and that we as Americans, both left and ride sides of the spectrum, have finally come to our senses and loaded them onto boats and sent them off into the ocean to let nature takes it course.
We can nationalize things and do government funded projects in America. That's how the Hoover Dam and the national parks and the Manhattan Project got built.
But leftists and socialists have to understand that we did that as a nation, not as a fucking hippie bong session. If they want any socialism in America, they need to first start being Americans.
Yep, they have zero sense of kinship with their fellow countrymen, all we are is a target for them. You can see it clearly in how them support the actions of antifa, and compare them to soldiers on Normandy, fighting a foreign threat, when they're actually attacking other Americans, other voters that won't forget their actions when the polls open again.
Says the guy unironically crying for the poor poor Mexican children who will have to go back and live in their own country instead of being given a free pass into ours, lmao
this logic is so weird to me. how is some place you barely remember and don't know anyone in "your own country" and not the place youve spent your entire adolescence and adulthood and where everyone you know lives? it's totally backwards.
/u/gayguyfromcanada Americans don't want faggot multiculti bullshit you Cannuck. Enjoy your shit country in 30 years when the Muslim majority has you executed for sodomy.
Yeah, like it's not happening. Just plug your ears little one.
When will England become a Muslim majority?
Around 2050 to 2070, if the economic system keep providing them the resource to support large famillies.
Considering that the current 3.5 millions asian muslims came mostly from 65000 arriving initially around 1960 to work.
From these date, asian muslims have succeeded to marry at 60% from people from their native country. Those often arrange marriage abroad are very easy to achieve due to high motivation of asian muslim to immigrate.
They had no more than 10 % inter race marriage.
They had an average fecondity rate of 4.5 children per familly which mush higher than the one of Bangladesh. Due to marriage abroad, the real fertility rate is 4.5 * (1 + 60%) . Therefore, it explain a doubling of population every eight years.
The level of belief among english muslim is around 50 % which is the same than in muslim country and can’t prove any trend toward atheism.
As French in 1980, English people are living in denied. Cultural muslim were 1% in France. They are now 15 to 30 %. They are also getting more and more radicalised.
It seems that you can't even get basic statistics right.
As French in 1980, English people are living in denied. Cultural muslim were 1% in France. They are now 15 to 30 %. They are also getting more and more radicalised.
/u/lintyelm the easy way to fix the problem is to kick all 800k filthy third world invaders out of America and back to the country where they belong (i.e. not America). We don't need them or want them.

That being said, if congress is able to come together to pass DACA legislation but not healthcare and tax reform it paints a pretty good picture of what their priorities are - pleasing illegal alien special interest groups is more important than pushing an agenda that you promised the American voter that you'd act on.
I find it quite funny all the people blaming congress for not working with Obama on making a constitutionally sound version of this... like they have some obligation to do it.
Sorry, but Congress disagreeing with the President and telling him to pound sand is not being obstructionist.
u/gayguyfromcanada nobody cares what a queer from Canada thinks about America. Don't worry I'm sure you'll have plenty of spics going to canada, cause they aren't going to go back to mexico. When you get 10 million Mexicans heading into Canada your going to be posting how you wished trump was your president
Their still here which means they are still criminals. Upon attaining the age of reason and culpability it was their duty to report their parents and to go home. They refused to do these things so therefore they must suffer.
Their being punished for their own crime silly billy. Also if they wanted the government gravy train to keep going they could have become US citizens. Oh no wait that's "Too hard!"tm
They must not like this country very much if they don't take steps to avoid a possible DACA removal. Hell even Mr. Obama said it was temporary so they don't even respect the free loading program they are on. https://www.instagram.com/p/BYo0Sw8DMV4/ Here he is on camera saying it.
Ok so what happens if parents don't pay rent on their apartment? Do we let the kids stay free just cause? What happens if your parents sneak into Disneyland without paying? We let them stay because we feel bad?
If my parents committed massive financial fraud, and used the proceeds of that fraud to give me a 'better life' (because everybody is entitled to just that, regardless of ends or means, right?) and I inherit those proceeds after their death, should the fraud be found out, I'm liable to forfeiture, civil action on the part of their victims for compensation, and if I was somehow complicit in that fraud, then I'd possibly be criminally liable too.
They aren't the exploding variety of brown people, they're more the wave the mexican flag, mexico pride variety. They love Mexico but they don't want to go back
Did you actually read it ? The last couple words address what you are arguing:
Attorney General Jeff Sessions announces the end of the DACA program, with a stay of six months to allow Congress to work out a fix for those DREAMers who came to the US illegally as children.
Not that I give a shit about this issue, but the same argument could be made for criminals with children yet I don't see people saying we shouldn't throw their asses in prison.
"Oh jeez he didn't say that trump is literally jesus, he must be a commie faggot tranny who loves pizza children! I better drive a car of peace into him!"
-Actual retards like you who support the small handed cheeto
Trump voters voted for ((Kuschner)). Trump called himself a globalist and signed that arms deal with Saudi Arabia, so he's basically an honorary muslim
It's nice that you share the idea that subhuman scum exist and need to be taken care of. It's wonderful that people on both sides of politics really do have more in common than first appearances would suggest.
All those bussy-blasted idiots who don't realize that when Congress and the President refuse to work together nothing permanent can get done is intentional and by design need to be gassed.
I said it above but I'm glad i see someone else seeing the same.
They think congress has some obligation to do exactly what the President wants... even if it's controlled by the party that is in direct opposition to the president.
He was brought over illegally, he can't apply for citizenship. That's the point of DACA, it gives people like him (brought over as kids, with no choice and no connections back there) a chance to stay and work, but they can't become citizens.
Which is the part that confuses me about those who support DACA. For all the emotional arguments that are used to defend DACA its purpose is purely exploitation (i.e. a labor pool that pays into a system those participants cannot exploit).
You'd think that would cause an emotional reaction but instead its defended.
Its also telling, in my opinion, that the state with the largest population of illegal aliens is the state that advocates the most for continued acceptance of illegal aliens. California stands to suffer the most if immigration laws are actually enforced as they would lose some 3 million (7.5%) of their tax base.
DACA lets participants apply for work permits, and, once you have one of those, you can get an SSN.
Don't think you'd be eligible for social insurance programmes (CHIP, Medicaid, Social Security, and so on), but you can get a job that has private benefits, and you presumably got a reasonably good education that will open more doors than the one you would have gotten in Honduras or wherever you parents came from. Somewhat fair tradeoff.
What's exploitative are the visa programmes that tie foreign labour to employers, who then pay them less than competitive rates.
Don't think you'd be eligible for social insurance programmes (CHIP, Medicaid, Social Security, and so on)
Among other government subsidized programs. And that's exactly the point. So people who defend it say things like "better than where they came from" as some sort of logical argument for their exploitation.
Using emotional statements like "its not their fault, think of the children" while simultaneously ignoring the factual exploitation of said "children" is confusing to me.
It doesn't matter if its a "fair tradeoff" its against the law. There is no point in having laws if they are ignored at the emotional whim of the population. If the law is no longer supported by the population then it should be changed (not ignored as is the case in California and other states).
We're supposed to be a nation built on laws, not emotional opinions. Your (the royal your) opinion about those laws can be debated and laws can be changed. But simply ignoring them rather than abiding the established process for managing them is short sighted and will lead to unintended consequences (such as this DACA drama).
Prosecutorial discretion is a thing - jaywalking is against the law but not every offence is going to get prosecuted - and immigration resources are limited. And it's not like it's less exploitative to have them work under the table in the dark with no protections whatsoever, or deporting them to a country where they don't speak the language.
I actually don't disagree with Trump's decision - he promised to end it, the party's base was asking for it to be done away with, and he's given the Congress six months. I feel bad for the people jerked around by all of this, but every Republican candidate (at least the ones with a realistic chance) said they were going to do the same thing. It's ultimately Congress's fault for not figuring out what the right answer is.
I get that, which is why these Reddit freakouts are comical. No elected official is going to deport a straight "A" Mexican kid because his parents can't be arsed to follow the rules.
Immigration reform needs to be addressed that is a fact, but I personally don't think it will happen for myriad of reasons;
requires effort
cuts into the base of certain groups/politicians
financial impact; both income (taxes) and expenditure (LEO)
The federal (and many state/local) government operate almost exclusively by shirking responsibility and punting problems until the next election (rinse and repeat). Leading to even worse problems that are more difficult to resolve; be that immigration or a backwater nuclear Kingdom.
The abuse of Executive Orders needs to be addressed and reigned in as it has been a problem since it became popular (in the 90's). If only people could set aside their political ideologies for a few minutes to recognize that problems exist and need to be addressed and accept that this will hurt some people.
The longer we ignore it the worse the solution will be. But we are a selfish species who thrive on emotion and recoil at logic and sacrifice.
This isn't discretion it's the actual opposite you aren't weighing the crimes and choosing not to act you are simply turning and denying the law exists.
These people should preferably of course be executed without trial but I'll accept deportation.
These aren't people they are illegals they deserve to suffer as much as possible until they go home.
For example, my own mother constantly says in conversation and in surveys that she graduated from St Joseph's University. She withdrew after her sophomore year. She wants to appear better educated than she actually is. She has also ramped it up a bit more since I have furthered my education past her.
Anyone with a B or higher in a college statistic course would know this. Pew is likely even more of a mistaken source. During election day, their exit polling suggested Hilary had a fairly wide advantage.
"Long established companies in the business of doing statistics don't get accurate results because they don't understand that people lie about things, here's a personal anecdote that totally establishes that I know more than those clowns."
See you might think that's possible but it's not. You can't stand in thin air and punch everybody. You have to have some ground of your own. You know what I'm saying. Like moderation. Not OMG HITLER AND I <3 DADDY STALIN or REEEEE NIGGERS AND ISLAM AND MUZZIES AND TACO PEOPLE GTFO MAGA GAS THE KIKES!
So you agree if i sneak in to New Zealand and live there illegally for 20+ years that country has no right to enforce its laws and has to grant me citizenship?
If you did not commit any major crimes in those 20 years, and contributed to society; then hell yes.
About time he did some new shit, politics was getting boring after the NK thing died down. This DACA drama should sustain me until the end of the week.

Do you expect the toddlers who came here to have said "no mommy, please don't cross the border, it's illegal"?

I can promise you that I have never lost a second of sleep worrying about the legalities of children whose parents are here illegally.
1 Frank_Tenpenny 2017-09-05
So you want children to be punished for their parents' crimes?
With your logic, I'm sure you'd love it when Ivanka, Tiffany, Donny Jr, Eric etc rot in jail alongside their pappy.

If we're going down that route why not imprison families as a whole regardless of crimes?
1 wwaalleess 2017-09-05
They are still illegal aliens regardless of age, this is the law they are breaking.
1 Frank_Tenpenny 2017-09-05

1 RobKaBobby 2017-09-05

1 CucksLoveTrump 2017-09-05
maybe mommy shouldn't have implicated her kids in illegal activity. you realize when citizens do that, we generally take their kids away

1 Frank_Tenpenny 2017-09-05
Illegal immigrants generally can't become citizens.
1 ca2co3 2017-09-05
Ok so what happens if parents don't pay rent on their apartment? Do we let the kids stay free just cause? What happens if your parents sneak into Disneyland without paying? We let them stay because we feel bad?
1 meatpuppet79 2017-09-05
If my parents committed massive financial fraud, and used the proceeds of that fraud to give me a 'better life' (because everybody is entitled to just that, regardless of ends or means, right?) and I inherit those proceeds after their death, should the fraud be found out, I'm liable to forfeiture, civil action on the part of their victims for compensation, and if I was somehow complicit in that fraud, then I'd possibly be criminally liable too.

Such a slight of the law shows no intent to want to be an American and thus their extermination is justified but deportation is fine too.

Look at this normie fuck never doing anything illegal
1 hoseking 2017-09-05
lol Korea boy has been here for 22 years and never even thought of applying for citizenship? Naw let's just knowingly roll illegal and hope it goes ok
1 ricardogce 2017-09-05
He was brought over illegally, he can't apply for citizenship. That's the point of DACA, it gives people like him (brought over as kids, with no choice and no connections back there) a chance to stay and work, but they can't become citizens.
1 wwyzzerdd 2017-09-05
Which is the part that confuses me about those who support DACA. For all the emotional arguments that are used to defend DACA its purpose is purely exploitation (i.e. a labor pool that pays into a system those participants cannot exploit).
You'd think that would cause an emotional reaction but instead its defended.
Its also telling, in my opinion, that the state with the largest population of illegal aliens is the state that advocates the most for continued acceptance of illegal aliens. California stands to suffer the most if immigration laws are actually enforced as they would lose some 3 million (7.5%) of their tax base.
1 Teresa_May 2017-09-05
DACA lets participants apply for work permits, and, once you have one of those, you can get an SSN.
1 wwyzzerdd 2017-09-05
1 Teresa_May 2017-09-05
Prosecutorial discretion is a thing - jaywalking is against the law but not every offence is going to get prosecuted - and immigration resources are limited.
1 wwyzzerdd 2017-09-05
I get that, which is why these Reddit freakouts are comical. No elected official is going to deport a straight "A" Mexican kid because his parents can't be arsed to follow the rules.
Immigration reform needs to be addressed that is a fact, but I personally don't think it will happen for myriad of reasons;
1 Thesixithoffoot 2017-09-05
This isn't discretion it's the actual opposite you aren't weighing the crimes and choosing not to act you are simply turning and denying the law exists.
These people should preferably of course be executed without trial but I'll accept deportation.
These aren't people they are illegals they deserve to suffer as much as possible until they go home.
The right answer is destroying them.
1 ManhattanTransFur 2017-09-05
