r/opieandanthony is a sub revolving around a dead radio show, the Opie & Anthony show. The humor is very mean, very edgy, and as part of the meanness, we hate a lot of people associated with the show for a wide variety of petty reasons. This include both Opie and Anthony, as well as Anthony's brother, Joe Cumia.

The Cumia brothers are both "I'm not racist I just think black people are savage animals!" racists, with Anthony infamously getting fired from his SiriusXM gig for a series of tweets against a black lady he had a confrontation with in Times Square. Both are huge into the Alt-Right, with Joseph giving himself the nickname (I shit you not) "The Forever Deplorable", which is still his twitter name (https://twitter.com/JosephCumia).

When they were kids, they made a deal where if one of them made it big, they'd financially support the other one. Years later, Anthony is a multi-millionaire because of a radio show, so he financially supports his brother. 56-year-old Anthony paying a weekly allowance to his older brother as he performs as The Edge in a U2 Tribute Band (not a cover band, a tribute band) called 2U, much more of a hobby one can take on when their younger brother gives them an allowance.

A reddit user, KillaKuhn, informed a bar owner who had booked 2U about all the shitty horrible things he's said over social media. Bar owner decides to cancel the gig as he doesn't want his bar associated with all this controversy. Joe is furious, as him and Anthony use their resources to dox KillaKuhn and spread around an article about an assault charge he had:

But the best part? Joe pursues legal action against the bar as he wants to get paid for the gig. Somehow, the case makes it way to The People's Court!! Joe sees this as a platform to inform the world how he's suffered so much harassment at the hands of "online terrorists", pretty much everyone else understands the show is going to throw his racist ass under the bus and completely destroy his reputation. The episode aired yesterday, being everything we wanted and so much more:

It might be one of the most humiliating and embarrassing things I've ever seen. The black audience member behind him on the left deserves a special mention for stealing the show with his expressions. For months before this aired, Joe was proclaiming this as a win, to see how horrible he comes across is just beautiful.
