The writer for this season should be lynched. I didn't even think the original series was like some perfect little tv show. But the new one is honestly the worst season of tv I've ever watched all the way through.

It was like they wrote four episodes then decided "fuck it I'm too rich to spend any more time on this" and then just padded it out to a whole season with pauses and shitty B plots that never related back to the main plot.

And I mean the worst, most viewer-hostile B plots imaginable. A worthless junky teenager (its the guy who plays reek from game of thrones literally reprising his role); a worthless dealer teenager; some "spooky" higher level drug dealer; the sheriff's nagging bitch wife literally screaming at the camera and the viewer for like seven minutes straight; separately, a grown up nagging aubrey literally screaming at the camera and the viewer for like seven minutes straight.
