/r/Drama Mystery: What Happened To /u/flipkt?
29 2017-09-19 by SperglockHolmes
Ten days ago, /u/flipkt posted this thread before it was either taken down by him or the mods.
You can read what he wrote in the thread thanks to the archive of it.
Was it all a joke, or was he actually doxxed by trannies?
Since then he hasn't posted at all, which might suggest the thread wasn't a joke, but this is also reddit, which means accounts have no value, so he could have easily moved onto another account without anyone noticing.

Some random user told me that he RES tagged me as an evil transphobe for my off-hand comment in that thread, but I never heard from them again after.

Call your boss say you internet raped them? Remember that guy who made the gif that Trump retweeted? Not as bad but still
1 Strich-9 2017-09-19
everyone knows the only people who ever face discrimination are trump supporters
1 Homer00025 2017-09-19
I know, right.
They present themselves as victims when they actually managed to elect the current President of the United States, despite not convincing a majority of voters.

Still butthurt that NY and LA don't get to make decisions for the entire country?
1 Ardvarkeating101 2017-09-19
I am in favor of democracy

Oh, I just wanted to point out that Donald J. Trump is currently the President of the United States of America, since u/Stritch-9 campaigned so heavily on his behalf.
I just tried to craft my comment ambiguously to see if I could hit 2 birds with one stone.
1 Strich-9 2017-09-19
It didn't work
1 Homer00025 2017-09-19
Oh, it is factual. All of it. That is why I said it. Of course Trump voters with their hair trigger sensitivity get butthurt by facts, even when they are in their favor.
Now tell me how does this make you feel:

This comment should be the central exhibit in the museum of whataboutism.
1 Strich-9 2017-09-19
.... the comment I responded to was about how unfair it is that that trump supporter guy got fired (for making a list of jews)
1 Works_of_memercy 2017-09-19
No, that's whataboutism. Two people are discussing how bad doxxing could be, one points out the trump guy who got fired, you pop in "BUT OTHER PEOPLE ARE DISCRIMINATED AGAINST TOO".
It's like whataboutism squared even, because the conversation you barged into was not about trump supporters being discriminated specifically, you had to make that up too.
Compare: in a discussion how dangerous DC is at night someone mentions that they know a women who was raped there and an unrelated person goes off with "JEEZ LIKE MEN NEVER GET RAPED OMG".
That's you here buddy. Keep yourself safe.
1 Strich-9 2017-09-19
Actually no, I was saying that other people ACTUALLY face discrimination.
A trump supporter being fired from his job for making a list of jews at CNN isn't discrimination.
No, that was the conversation.
bizarre
1 Works_of_memercy 2017-09-19
How is getting fired not discrimination? You are insane.
1 Works_of_memercy 2017-09-19
You were the person who first used the word "discrimination" in this thread. So it was like whataboutism cubed then, people were discussing how doxxing can cause you problems like getting fired for example, and then you point out that there are other people who are discriminated against, and it's proper discrimination too and not just getting fired lol.
1 Strich-9 2017-09-19
At this point I can't be bothered clicking parent a bunch of times to see if you're right or I am, so lets just say you are

The biggest thing that they can do is call your boss and tell them that you're saying bad things on the internet. Aside from that, there is shit that people can do to make your life miserable with a name and address, but most of the good tactics require some creativity or knowledge of creative people who've used them. Back in the day, there used to be a troll group called ruined4life that pioneered ways to effect people in cruel and unusual ways with only basic dox. They terrorized a particular family for an entire year.
1 MistSassyFgts 2017-09-19
Anywhere I can read about that? Sounds fun.
1 snallygaster 2017-09-19
Nope, you'd have to get it directly from the source or somebody who knows the source. I think I'm going to try and interview one of the leaders before he dies and leaves the other leader around, as the other guy is genuinely the most terrifying person I've had the misfortune of crossing paths with on- or offline.

Yeesh..
