Gonna be honest: I laid down money with a buddy that Trump would win about the time the Wikileaks DNC stuff came out. I felt like a contingent of Bernie voters would swing to Trump bc they felt they got the raw end of a deal. 13% did, which was way higher than I anticipated. That, plus the Comey press conference, plus she hadn't shown her face for an open press conference for like 6 months heading into October made me feel like she just didn't have the inertia. She campaigned poorly (insert "coulda stepped into Wisconsin!" joke) but in the end it was just a hunch. I only read the LA Times polls too. Call it confirmation bias. Won $100 bucks. Shoulda laid down more money with a bookie in retrospect but hindsight is 20/20
