I'm treating Reddit's overwhelmingly negative reaction to a simple and gentle request as a tragedy, because that's the kind of behavior that causes trans people, like Scout, to choose suicide. Surprise, surprise, rejection and lack of acceptance by family, friends, and society at large leads to poor mental health. But to everyone here, tranny committed suicide is fucking hilarious for someone reason and tranny trying to advocate for a society in which fewer trans people would commit suicide is even more hilarious. Can't believe I didn't see the humor earlier. /s
