The problem with California is that it is inhabited by Californians.

The red states get far more federal money than the blue states, simply because red states are on average less economically productive. This has even been quantified, most recently in 2013 I believe, with each state ranked according to the amount of federal tax they generate vs. how much federal funding they receive. The rural parts of the country, and the South in particular, were by far the most heavily subsidized. I'd be interested to see an updated list, especially now that some states have flipped.

Flips off water switch

I know you're being a bit glib, but Colorado is about to do exactly that. Cali has bled that state dry, as well as Texas, and they're fed up with it.

You Americans are the great leach on the California Republic. We get NOTHING from you except in-migrants. We pay so much tax for red america, and all the food from central valley goes to feed you, lining pockets of rich ranchers who take our meager water to grow your almonds. The only war i would fight in is CA independence.

Cali is great at being an economic powerhouse, but let's not pretend they wouldn't get buttfucked into another dimension by the US army. Not to mention the US army members from Cali would likely side with the US, not Cali.

I don't think a bunch of hipsters would stand much chance.

I mean, how would Cali deal with the power grid situation? If TX wanted to secede, they could do so, because they have 1 of the 3 powergrids. Port access, electricity, and oil; they fit all the criteria for a US invasion tbh, whereas CA is just a shit hole we would fire bomb.

we would fire bomb.

That's our secret, we're already on fire.

that's it. You can't justify a moral high ground for keeping us subservient to USA. Only threaten force when we want to exercise our will in our own best interest. You're correct on all that, but it doesn't mean it's ethical.

The best part of California leaving the US would be the possibility of going to war with them.

Imagine drone strikes blowing hipsters apart in LA.

California makes up the largest percent of enlistees per state. Nobody is gonna attack California.

Great you can look at a population map.

That's where you're fucking wrong kiddo, lol. The military doesn't fucking care about losing one state full of enlistees when it will still have an entire country of them.

lol k

Drones are made in California.

doesn't california basically sit on top of a fault line? I would think remaining in the US is more of a health insurance policy for when that dam inevitably bursts.

Plus, don't they get aid for all those wildfires? I'm sure the hipsters wont mind picking up the tab.

Is Cascadia gonna be a thing again?

I love how the retarded pro California dipshit always ignore California's GDP comes from conservative businesses that would leave.

He isn't wrong, red states continually go against their best interest so this is definitely in line with that.

Red states could give a fuck.

could give a fuck

you could give a fuck?!?!!

WTF?

when did this retarded phrase become a thing?
