Because I make low 6 figures here and considering the cost of living it actually lets me live a much higher lifestyle than if I lived somewhere on the coast. Due to that I am afforded the opportunity to travel and see the world, which I probably wouldn't be able to do otherwise. Also I grew up here, my family is here, my kids were raised here, etc.
