I would really like to know what constitutes "pagan territory" in Europe. Historically I'm thinking maybe the Balkans? But that's Eastern Orthodox vs Muslim territory so I'm not sure that'd be right. Maybe North Eastern Europe, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia country?

There's really no "logic" in what is and isn't offensive. There are reasons why things are considered more or less offensive by most but they never are going to follow any truly universal rule. Like those guys arguments about Irish could be extended to blackface but they aren't.
