I seen the SJWs trying to do this same thing to Spanish with "latinx" , which by the way makes zero fucking sense and sounds like nails if you have ever heard people speak spanish. The X is not that commonly used in spanish to introduce it to a common word like "latino" fucks up the flow. Anyway from my personal experience Hispanics i met fall largely in two camps 1. They think it's stupid and won't use it. 2. They don't even know it exists. So the whole effort is thankfully falling flat on its face.
