I don't think it was this, it was probably the whole sub in general, many of the members advocated enslaving women, rape, etc.

On the other hand, a place like incels, the admins were probably looking for any chance to get rid of it.

Why do they even bother pretending to try and follow some established set of rules? They need to just come out and say this is an admin playground and they'll do whatever they feel like.

If this is a playground r/drama are the weird kids huddled in the corner snickering at everyone else.

It's like when politicians 'play by the rules'. Yeah right.

If you commented on r/incels and it wasn't about hating women you would get banned from participating and muted from contacting the mods for 72 hours.

So, I think I may be able to shed some insight onto this. This could be coincidental as far as timing, but who knows.

It is very possible that Incels going private recently led to the sub getting banned. What happened was this:

1. Incels mods go private like normal.
2. A user makes a post in /r/redditrequest and it gets linked to a Discord I'm in.
3. I look at it and see that there are a lot of people arguing, which is a big no no in redditrequest.
4. I report it to the redditrequest moderators.
5. Admins lock the Incels redditrequest.
6. The subreddit gets banned a few hours later.

Anyone can make a comment on any sub that isn't private and this submission only has 8 comments total, hardly enough to judge the whole sub over. There's a reason they hid their "no violence" rule addition on some obscure sub instead of the normal announcements one, it's just a sham rule of "we'll ban what we feel like".
