yeah but its so unnatural. after a while your brain starts to lock onto the little details of the aftertaste and the weird texture and suddenly thats all you can notice, like the drink equivalent of saying a word so many times it sounds odd. whereas if youre making it even with a simple appliance its gonna be a little different every time, like food is supposed to be.

tbh i had unlimited free access to those pods as work and i drank a lot of them every single day so i was probably exposed to the problem more than most.

tbh im no expert, when i drink espresso its generally from a shop or my friends fancy italian machine that steams the milk etc so it always tastes amazing, but id say the aeropress is closer to that than it is to a french press or a pot that you put on the stove. its very smooth.
