I've been up to Minneapolis for business a few times. It is mayo central. The only place I saw any minorities were the mexican fellows running the cafeteria in the building I was working in - and they were cooking sad """Mexican-ish""" food for pasty mayos who don't know any better.

Meaning no disrespect to Minneapolis (it seems like a decent place), but WHY? MN would be among the last places I'd move to on purpose, mostly because I hate the cold and the snow.

Somalis live here because the Gov't took them in as refugees, Mexicans live here because there's tons of agriculture work here during the summer, then a lot of them move back south for the winter. I live here because I was born here. Most people move here because it's the strongest economy in the Midwest and the standard of living relative to the cost of living is dope. Lots of good tech jobs, or jobs in general for young professionals. You get used to the cold rather quickly. Worst part about it is the taxes are pretty rough, in my opinion.
