While this can seem harsh, it actually makes a lot of sense to us. For example, if V wants to go hiking every Saturday, but I’ve tried and hate hiking, the conclusion is that he goes hiking while I do something else. We’re not going to force me to go hiking or force V to stay home — because that would mean, in the long run, that one of us would get increasingly unhappy, and eventually the relationship would start to crumble. This applies to everything we do.
