Mod Jed is an employee of Jagex on the Oldschool team, the developer of Oldschool Runescape.
Runescape has numerous clans that engage in the occasional colossal Player vs Player war, but the one that nearly always comes out on top is the infamous Reign of Terror (RoT). They've won numerous Jagex-hosted tournaments and have earned tens of thousands of dollars in prize money. They've recently been involved in numerous scandals, most prominently being accused of DDOSing their competition to win.
A video accusing Mod Jed of being an active member of Reign of Terror and using his Moderator powers to see players' IP addresses so that RoT can DDOS their competition is posted to the Oldschool Runescape subreddit. The overwhelming consensus of the subreddit, being players typically fed up with RoT shenanigans, is calling for Jed's head.
This wouldn't be the first time a Jagex Mod had been exposed for corruption. In April of 2015, a Jagex Mod, Mod Reach, was fired after it was discovered that he was implementing obscure glitches that would render you invincible and able to gain large amounts of experience points without input, and obtain obscene amounts of wealth by killing the hardest boss in the game over and over for the most expensive loot in the game, and then using these glitches across multiple characters to obtain billions of in-game gold, and then selling it all for a new Audi.

Correction: There a Battle Royale-style competition that RoT almost won $20,000 for when three level 110+ characters conveniently disconnected so that a level 89 RoT account was the last man standing, but the finalist was found guilty of running a bot farm and so RoT was not awarded the prize money. I don't actually know if RoT has still won tens of thousands of dollars.

You have to understand that the competition your talking about (Last Man Standing) is pretty much like baseball.
