no, seriously, as a software developer, this was the last straw. I was a whale, I put $150/expansion into the game. You cannot convince me that you take me seriously as a customer if you cannot get super basic shit like this right. This is absolutely minimal grade-school level programming. This is a game company, software developers in gaming are expected to be the best of the best because developing games is very difficult. This is absolute, unbelievable horse-shit. To think that this would become an official company position is just beyond the pale of reason.
How can you possibly publish "we won't support beasts after expansion x" as a serious public-facing answer instead of owning and fixing your shit? It's incomprehensible. I'd accept that from like some fly-by-night consulting company that had one employee who was a broke graduate student. This is Blizzard, a "titan of industry" (lol).
