We live in an age of outrage culture where offending someone on the internet on your own time means you can lose your job and therefore your sole source of income. Using throwaways when discussing anything remotely controversial is probably a smart idea.

O look I got quoted ayy lmao. Yea defending loli drawings is a pretty controversial stance to take. On the internet it might be 50/50 controversial, but IRL 90% of people would probably think you're insane for thinking those types of drawings should be legal.
It would not surprise me if a company fired someone for saying that loli drawings should be legal on their own time. People have been fired from their jobs for arguing far less controversial things.
