"I want the men I work with to totally have to change how they behave, but I don't want them to think it's my fault they have to. How can I make this happen but blame someone else for it?"
I am offended by the [...] lack of respect towards women.
Seems like they respek her as much as they respek each other.
And do note that the men call that each other, not her. She's still getting the white glove treatment - 'hey, dumb cunt' is appropriate to notify Joshua or Herbert that some shit is going on, but when it comes to communicating with Samantha it's first name basis, with niceties and sprinkles.
Things aren't offensive to groups; things are offensive to individuals and when people find things offensive they just say it's offensive to a certain group to make it seem less subjective than it is and often even say that it's offensive to a group they don't belong to. Like Joe Rogan saying that he would hit any male who uses the word cunt because "it's offensive to women"
I really agree with that first point, but did Joe Rogan really say that? If so, he's going right down in my estimation.

You are a liar. I have been listening to Rogan for years. He would not hit someone for using the word cunt. I have heard him use the word cunt to describe others on his podcast. Just the top example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ox-ZCV3RcG4
Just drop it from your memory banks then (I cant seem to think of a nice way to say that sentence).
I promise you he doesn't think that. He uses it to this day on his podcast when he REALLLLLY doesn't like someone. Also there are plenty of guests that use the term on his podcast without him hitting them or berating them for it in any way.
Maybe they think that because I chose this field (information technology) that I am one of the guys so it's okay.
Ah, information technology, the more broad term imaginable. And because I somehow doubt she's running wires and a software dev would never use the term to describe themselves I'm giving 5 to 6 odds she's a PM and insecure because she doesn't feel like she's contributing as much as other team members.
}Tomorrow I plan to go to HR to ask for them to please remind people of what is and is not okay to talk about at work. I'm not going to use names or describe what happened because I don't want anyone to find out that I'm complaining. I'm concerned that someone will find out and alienate me or get mad at me.
I don't say anything directly to them because I worry about being seen as overly sensitive. Plus I've said something before when I thought they were inappropriate and they just don't do that one specific thing anymore.
I can't talk to then directly because it literally worked last time but didn't solve all problems ever so why bother? Better get HR involved so people can get fired.
There are plenty of men out there who are allies of women, though they are unfortunately in short supply on this thread.

I do find the miss use of word Ally these days interesting. Ally does not mean, nor has it ever meant, an unconditional surrender of your own integrity and thoughts to someone elses ideology, thoughts or wishes.
That would be a submissive relationship, and by definition not a relationship between allies.
So please stop using words you don't know how to properly use.
Who ever said anything about ally meaning "an unconditional surrender of your own integrity and thoughts to someone elses ideology, thoughts or wishes. " or being unconditionally supportive? Just you.
But on the subject of the use of words, as discussed in previous posts in this thread, the meaning of a words is dictated by the perceptions of and context by the majority that use it.
For example, it would be rediculous to argue that people who use the term "faggot" as a derogatory word for gays are wrong because it originally meand a bundle of sticks for kindling. Or that people who use the term "gay" for homosexual are wrong because it originally means happy or cheerful.

You most did in that thread. In your quote. Acting as if everyone not supporting your ideas or the ones of the OP could not possibly be an ally. No you imply they must support you in this otherwise not an ally.

Me: "I want to be treated exactly the same as a man because I can do anything a man can do and go anywhere a man can go!"
Also me: "Men must clean up their act while I am around as it is offensive to all women if they don't"

"Dear twox I want more women coworkers to talk about period shits but there's no open spots on the team."
"I want to get some of the men fired to make room. But I don't want them to be angry at me or even make it look like I was involved."

I'm not a rogan expert but I very much doubt it.

On an unrelated note, here's Joe Rogan talking about the Great Orca Peace Treaty of 1944

Just replying here to say that I tried to look it up and could indeed find no actual source for it.
I think I originally read it on r/pcmasterrace where multiple people said he said something like that.
