I am disappointed in how poorly researched this article is. If you scroll back to through Jenn and Rosie's Instagram feeds is it clear that Jenn had developed this bold and bright aesthetic first, only to have it mimicked by Rosie shortly thereafter.
Jenn began posting photos styled outfits in front of murals and colorful walls in April/May 2014. While there are still some snapshots from daily life mixed in, the majority of her photos are styled images featuring bold bright colors. By October 2014 the idea was fully formed and all of the images shared to her account fit within the theme.
Rosie started to flirt with a bold and colorful theme in November 2014, fully committing to it in January 2015. It is eerie that Jenn is in some of the last personal snapshots that appear on Rosie's feed - before she switched to posting only bold and bright photos. She obviously knew Jenn, and it is clear that Jenn had developed this idea first.
I am confused as to why the author of this article didn't take the time to look through the two Instagram feeds to see who originated the aesthetic. To interview Rosie and let her accuse Jenn without doing any objective research is careless journalism.
If you are confused about who is copying who, you just need to go back to September/October 2014 and look at what they were posting.
The examples provided at the end of the article are very misleading. Jenn first posted the image that red and pink dress on December 25, 2016. She reposted it more recently when it went on sale, but she wore it first.

Pretty sure both of these girls are nailing the same Chad and accusing the other one of copying her idea.

"We had a falling out and now she's copying my instagram" may be the most 2017 reason to whine yet.

These people are too young and too stupid to be allowed access to social media.

#teamjennifer
When she sees the baby for the first time, she's going to want to fuck it. It's the code of the werewolf or something. Sorry for the spoilers.

The copycat has better legs and congrats to her for being so blatantly jealous and vindictive.

Why are we ignoring the fact that the "aesthetic" is ugly and unoriginal?
