Wet n Wild is too expensive for you, You seem like more of a New York Colors girl, so why don’t you go back to the Dollar General you crawled out from under and keep searching for the perfect pink toned 3 dollar foundation that accentuates your expired deli ham hued complexion

We need more drama from women that isn't about feminism or relationships.
It's a shame I have no idea what silly shit they are talking about.
1 a_normal_human 2017-12-19
You are aware of lolcow.farm I assume? Imagine an imageboard made up of catty, lolcow obsessed feeemales that are more obsessed about tearing down other women than feminism.
1 pwpas 2017-12-19
So, basically the real world.
1 allwordsaredust 2017-12-19
Lolcow is cray. They viciously tear down women they don't like for faults I didn't even know existed.

Can anyone translate retard? This reads like Amy Schumer's ideas journal.
1 Think_Once 2017-12-19
If you know how Amy Schumer's journal reads, then you're retarded enough to understand it.
1 yourmumsanargonian 2017-12-19
Did you get that joke from her journal?
1 Think_Once 2017-12-19
No, that was yours.
1 yourmumsanargonian 2017-12-19
My journal? Or my joke? You're losing me a bit here. The first one was pretty snappy stuff though.
1 Think_Once 2017-12-19
Both.
1 yourmumsanargonian 2017-12-19
Great. Well, thanks for the banter mate. It was very good.

Its r/muacirclejerk so its making fun of all the ridiculous shit one r/makeupaddiction like pale princess syndrome and people who only post looking for compliments, despite the it saying RIGHT IN THE SIDEBAR that constructive criticism on looks is an integral part of the sub. Essentially its a bunch of girls being the worst, most hilarious caricature of makeup culture ever and its great. This particular one is a cj of some bitch who came onto r/makeupaddiction just to insult people and was calling everybody a bumch of old hags and shit, then showed up in the linked thread to continue insulting everybody. If you go through the comments you can find the sauce of her original r/makeupaddiction post!
1 yourmumsanargonian 2017-12-19
Ah right. That makes more sense now. For some reason, I misread the sub as mmacirclejerk and then wondered why people were banging on about makeup so much.
1 soggybutter 2017-12-19
Nope, its mua! Its honestly fucking hilarious, especially if you're into makeup at all. It doesn't really have the same toxic vibe as a lot of other makeup communities, besides just the normal r/makeupaddiction jerk it calls out a lot of the racism and sexism and other problems in that community, which is nice.
1 wtfuxlolwut 2017-12-19
Til makeup communities are often toxic.
1 alphetasauce 2017-12-19
I really don't understand what there is to get toxic over. I do know I want to read more.
1 wwyzzerdd 2017-12-19
Basic bitches never do.
1 alphetasauce 2017-12-19
Shut up Becky, you're the basic one.
1 Wolf_Craft 2017-12-19
Perpetuating further abuse against each other and unattainable physical goals.
1 alphetasauce 2017-12-19
That sounds exciting. And petty.
1 Wolf_Craft 2017-12-19
You can't even begin to imagine.
1 alphetasauce 2017-12-19
Can you post all of the crazy here so I can begin to imagine?
1 soggybutter 2017-12-19
Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but yea. I dont want that being attributed to the fact that they are mainly female communities tho. Any community focused on people becoming popular because of a beautiful face (even if it is all makeup) is going to have your standard inflated egos and issues from that.
But you also have a healthy dose of racism (black girls arent beautiful, dark skin isn't beautiful, etc.) compounded by the fact that MANY makeup brands simply don't produce makeup for darker skin tones. When makeup brands expand into darker skin tones (or like Fenty, come on the scene with 40 shades in varying undertones) you get a lot of whataboutism from the pale princess community about neeever being able to find a shade light enough. There are drugstore brands that carry a literal white foundation mixer, you are not too pale for that shit. This also co-opts the struggles that those with darker skin face, because it trivializes the whole situation and makes it seem like darker girls who actually can't find a shade match due to a market that systematically ignores them are on the same level as some special snowflake type shit.
Then combine that with all the sexism surrounding makeup already (men can't wear makeup, women need to wear makeup to be pretty, women who wear makeup are literal clowns, "take her swimming for the first date" type shit, that Make-App, a million other things) along with the specific scandals that come about in every community and you have the recipe for one toxic fucking group.
There are good makeup people out there tho, and they are mostly on r/muacirclejerk

Just like in the animal kingdom the male of the species is always "prettier". Women just need to learn to accept it.
You don't see female ducks picking fights with each other over who is the prettiest. No they just paddle around look at those pretty males.
1 soggybutter 2017-12-19
But that's the thing, its not about being prettier for a lot of the community. It's a hobby, it's fun! Figuring out what products work the best, what techniques work the best, the best ways to take care of your skin, what colors are in, what finishes are in, the discussions, on and on and on. Looking nice is part of it, obviously. But theres a misconception that women only wear makeup to look prettier, and that's not always super accurate.
1 wwyzzerdd 2017-12-19
Well ya I means sometimes you need makeup to cover some giant scare left by a full sized ax because you didn't make the goddamn dinner. But I digress...
I feel like that duck only looks like that because he posted in MaleFashionAdvice and then, counter to logic and reason, listened to all of them at once and came out with Daffy's Technicolor Plumage.
1 error404brain 2017-12-19
On the other hand, given how important look can be to teenagers, boosting the self esteem of the few
stupidproud enough to pot might be a good thing.1 soggybutter 2017-12-19
I mean I've posted there, cause makeup is on of my hobbies and i like advice to get better. Theres some reaaally talented people that post there too. There are hella subs dedicated to just compliments, and when people get upset because they receive constructive criticism instead of just compliments, thats what is fucking annoying.
1 alphetasauce 2017-12-19
I felt like I was reading this post from highschool. You have a unique writing style.
1 soggybutter 2017-12-19
Typing on my phone plus spending the last 4 days grading high school senior papers might be credited with that, or maybe I'm just a shitty writer when I'm stoned. Either way, I replied to one of my other comments about the toxic community if you want to read that, since you said you wanted to learn more about it!

/u/yourgirlemmy looks overweight and doesn't know how post pictures to the internet.
How sad.

My BMI is 19.8 which is considered “normal range”. Don’t run your haggy mouth because you’re upset my face is full and youthful and gorgeous. Why don’t you share your BMI. I’m willing to bet it’s higher than mine, and I’m sure your face is saggier too. Bitter bats like you can make the choice to turn their life around. Bright Blessings
1 fartingtowardsu 2017-12-19
Lol, r u an old person? Being a hag and sagging seem to be a common theme in your little rants. Are you projecting right now?
✨ Bright Blessings ✨
