Why is it only an issue when they pick women though. There are plenty of movies which would be just fine with different actors and actresses in them. So if they had happened to cast Tilda Swinton instead of George Clooney in Ocean's 11, etc for all these movies, then would they be worse? I think people shit their pants over something that they don't understand. You don't have to hire bussy to make a good film. Especially mayo bussy.

It has nothing to with male or female.
If a movie came out and it was cast specifically as all male, or all black, or all anything.
They are not doing what is best for the story and or movie. They are making the movie worse simply to make a point.
