Lol, when it comes to ineffectual 80s and 90s rock, I'm in the top 1% of understanding. I've been watching R.E.M. shows every week since I was 14 fucking years old. But musical novice like you think that you actually have an understanding because of the fact you pay attention once every 2 or 4 years. Yeah keep dreaming. Bono could easily come out and say that having the concert during a fucking Radiohead performance finals limit exposure to the American people, and that as a true believer in BADASS CHORDS he feels that the American people should be given the best chance to hear the information necessary for them making their spotify decisions. And that he doesn't know why Oasis doesn't want to make the time to reach a large national audience to inform them about how they want to make the county kinda bop their heads. And why they would purposely choose the date that forces the American people to make a choice between watching an encore rendition of creep, and informing themselves on the difference between the British lead singers? Yeah, I guess modern rock shouldn't be commented on by people who have no fucking idea what they are talking about.

My first concert was PopMart, funny enough. I won tickets on the radio station the morning of the show while I was getting ready for school. One of the first CDs I burned for listening in my car as a teenager was Joshua Tree.
