It's good that you think about philosophical questions at this age (assuming you're actually 14), even if your believes are considered a little quirky for an adult. I started out as Christian when I was 12, then had a phase where I believed in souls and such, and finally I turned up to be an agnostic atheist. Keep asking questions in a passionate way and you'll end up with a world view that makes you comfortable with yourself and the world around you. You don't have to be sure of your believes tomorrow, it's normal for this to take a few years.

Just don't pressure yourself into being something which you aren't. You can be self-protective by not telling everybody all your thoughts, but you owe it to noone to adopt a certain way of thinking.

There are certainly a lot of legitimate criticisms of organized religion, not the least of them being that religious scriptures often contradict themselves or don't hold up to historical facts.
