"Nonbinary" just isn't a sex. If you want all those special snow flake I-aint-a-tomboy's and I'm-not-just-gay's to feel validated, add a category "gender" to their brith certificates. Although that would probably make things more complicated. And bizarre.
Yeah true. Germany has an "other" category for sex now, which if I'm informed correctly was established after some intersex people sued for their right to be recognized as neither male nore female.
