Some context: Recently a Muslim of unknown origin randomly attacked a number of people in a small border town in Ireland, killing one and injuring two others.
What followed was the inevitable internet speculation about intent, with the words 'potential terrorist attack' thrown around by the Police. This triggered all the usual suspects on /r/ireland to draw the battle lines and begin reciting all the same rehashed arguments that you've seen on every single /r/worldnews thread.
There were many accusations of cuckery and racism.
Following this, /r/ireland began suspecting that it was the subject of some 4chan and /r/The_Donald infiltration after a thread on 4chan was discovered which seemed a little too excited by the prospect of Ireland being redpilled on the Muslim problem after this attack.
More accusations of cuckery and racism quickly followed.
After all this, I feel that the suspect of the attack, Mohammad Morsei, was best able to set aside all arguments of intent when he chanted repeatedly at his hearing that: “I am no gay”, “I am no Muslim”.
contributed in pushing us to the left and away from our roots, maybe
and then of course, when the children of these potato nigger immigrants started running for office, they pushed thru the disastrous legislation like immigration "reform" in 1965 which was the cornerstone of the subsequent spic invasion
not to mention the myriad ways the children of potato niggers and other immigrants attempt to re-write themselves into american history
So... one guy with an anti-Paki agenda spams some articles about a terrorist attack and suddenly all their suspicions of the sub being overrun with alt-right trolls are confirmed?
'Alt-right' is just the 'commie' of the left--a word used by retards to bunch everyone they don't like together for convenient hating. And just like 'commie', there are genuine skinheads and such, but also like 'commies', you could fit most of them in the gymnasium of a large high school.
I don't care enough to learn anything about it. Shit's fucking boring. And I'm sure everyone there is acting like a whiny little douchebag, like you, which makes me care even less about the truth.
Not a waste for them. They want to support anti-immigrant & racist ideas in foreign societies so they can then use this as a basis to support and strengthen their own ideologies back at home.
(Sidrnote: I understand not all anti-immigration supporters are racist and there are legitimate reasons to be anti-immigration. Such as the entire situation in the middle East is mostly the yanks fault to begin with, not as much Europe's, and definitely not Irelands.)
We wouldn't have any ideologues in this country if weren't for the Yanks. Feck, sure I never heard an Irishman express an anti-immigration sentiment until /r/The_Donald began astroturfing /r/ireland.
This racism craic is a bit new to us, but here's hoping we get the hang of her.
It was a general sentiment on the threads posted on the sub. One poster gave an impromptu AMA on one of the threads about paid astroturfing. It was all getting a bit conspiratorial.
I think you gravely underestimate the ability of Irish people to be taken in by a narrative and begin posting nonsense on their own volition. You should head up North and see what shite gets thrown at the wall to be lapped up by idiots.
The Alt-Right narrative isn't confined simply to the US. It's on the internet, free to be seen by anyone with a connection, even Irish people.
With the recent attacks in the UK, it's not surprising that the more hysteric among us would begin to think "the Western World is under threat and we're next, so I must alert my fellow countrymen to the Muslim threat" - no matter how vague it is.

Americans flooding into Ireland to fuck it up? It's like a reverse Ellis Island!
1 fuckyourcontext 2018-01-04
At least the Irish eventually contributed. Americans would only bring shootings and burger music.

/u/AllahAqua why would anyone want to brigade the potatoless abode you call a Subreddit.
1 AllahAqua 2018-01-04
Because they saw an opportunity to do so based on a recent attack that was suspected to be related to Islamic terror at first?
1 Gtyyler 2018-01-04
Seems like a waste of resources if you ask me. They could have been used for anything other than making Irish lolcows.

Never said that this is new, but we've never had an Islamic terror attack, so at the first sign of what might be one, the yanks come in.
Also you're the one who keeps bringing up T_D astroturfing, I've never mentioned it. You know something I don't?
