I just got in arguments on that sub with the toxic-left element that hangs out there.
The people there are more interested in hating conspiracy theorists than understanding them. The biggest argument I ever got in was when I tried to explain the cognitive foibles that go into being a pizzagate crazy, and that it didn't necessarily mean they're stupid people, and intelligence and cognitive bias aren't really related.
They start throwing shit at the walls "REEEEE BUT ALL CONSPIRACY THEORISTS ARE STUPID."
Another big one was when I tried to argue white nationalists aren't necessarily "nazis." They're completely incapable of nuance. Pretty much any time you point out left-wing crazy on that sub the SJWs just swarm you.
It's a really bad sub, it's a sub for stupid people to mock people they perceive as stupid and nothing more.
