First of all orientalism isn't racism. Second off my comments weren't making Japanese culture exotic or weird. My intent was to show a different side of Sushi/Sashimi that people normally don't know about which is the art/ years of perfected craftsmanship (High class Omakase). I wasn't trying to generalize Japanese culture, if I did or sounded like that well shit my bad. Matter of fact I am Japanese and have been to some of the best omakase in Japan, so when people try to claim "Mercury/Salmonella" on this delicious food it really irks me because I've tried the best of the best. While they have tried the supermarket store version and claim that all sushi is disgusting/unhealthy. You're right sushi is a common thing and so is a lot of food in the entire world, just a misunderstanding but don't frame me for something I'm not because I'm no where close to racist.
